The United Church has launched a call for nominations that will further our commitment to be a church of deep spirituality, bold discipleship and daring justice. This includes one vacancy on the General Council Executive.
As key leaders in the church, please directly reach out to people you believe would serve well and encourage – even assist them – in expressing their interest. The Audit Committee oversees the integrity of the management control and information systems of The United Church of Canada. There are currently three vacancies on this committee.
The General Council Executive seeks a forward-looking collaborative colleague to join them in their oversight and governance responsibilities. For this vacancy, it is a priority of the Executive to broaden the diversity and perspectives at the table.
Task Group on Apology to Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ Communities
We are seeking individuals to create an apology for The United Church of Canada that addresses the harms and hurts experienced by members of the Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Total Compensation Review Task Group
This task group will undertake a study of all elements of the United Church’s compensation practices with a view to developing an equitable and sustainable system of compensation.
