Welcome, David Leyton-Brown, the newest member of the General Council Executive!

David is a longtime member of Richmond Hill United Church, and retired Professor of Political Science, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and College Master at York University. He is also former president of Shining Waters Regional Council. 

He brings extensive board experience, governance expertise, and strategic thinking to the role, particularly as it relates to growth and the church’s climate change commitments. 

Glad to have him join us, just in time for GCE meetings this weekend!
