Just a reminder of our upcoming meetings this month.

Firstly, the learning session for the GC44 meeting is Thursday, October 12, beginning at 6:30 p.m. (EDT). This will be the primary time of learning and discussion regarding:

1. A proposal regarding recommendations on the Designated Lay Ministry Program (DLM) and ordering of DLM ministers;
2. A proposal on property in North Korea, and
3. Background to the proposal on Support for Ministry Personnel Suspended while in a Directed Program.

The annual electronic meeting of the 44th General Council is Saturday, October 21, 2023, and will be about four hours in length. Orientation begins at 11:30 (ET) and the business portion begins at 12 noon.

Both meetings will be held on Zoom, accessed through the CHURCHx platform. Attendees must be enrolled in CHURCHx, and will receive an email invitation to the CHURCHX platform this week.
