The revised dates for GC44 have been set for July 22–26, 2022. These dates were selected based on the original 2021 dates, availability of the venues, and the UCW 60th Anniversary celebration.

Deadlines for GC44 are as follows:

• Electing Commissioners: June 14, 2021
• Submitting proposals: October 29, 2021

These deadlines are important because the GC44 Planning Committee will be developing webinars to prepare commissioners for the work they will be addressing when they arrive at General Council. To give the committee and Commissioners enough time to prepare, the Planning Committee needs to know what information needs to be shared and with whom.

Some regional councils have already held their 2020 AGMs and elected commissioners for GC44. These commissioners will continue in that role unless they choose to withdraw.
