General Council

General Council 44 will consist of four (4) parts: constituting the council and worship February 13, 2022; listening and learning sessions scheduled each month from March–May; discussion sessions June 16–18; and decision-making sessions July 22–26, 2022.

The Youth Forum delegates will be encouraged to engage in all business sessions of the 44th General Council and home groups throughout this time period. Ideally, Regional Councils will elect at least one youth (age 15–21) to serve as a Commissioner to General Council. Youth Forum delegates who are not selected as Commissioners will share their wisdom with voice but no vote.
