The first few videos in the United Church’s Exploring Equity series are now live! This video series was created in partnership with members of the Equity Support Team for General Council 44 and Anti-Racism and Equity Lead staff Adele Halliday. The role of the Equity Support Team is to work to help the Council live into the church’s commitments to equity and the equity aspirations.

The videos currently posted explore:

• Principles of equity: What is equity? What can we do to further equity in our communities?
• Equity aspirations: What are they, and why do we need them?
• Equity in meetings: How might equity be lived out in meetings and gatherings?
• Uncomfortable equity: What are some ways that equity invites us to change?
